Girl, I Guess Progressive Voter Guide

Stephanie has co-authored the critically-acclaimed “Girl, I Guess Progressive Voter Guide” since March of 2018. Girl, I Guess has grown to become the nation’s largest independent voter guide— written by individuals, not an organization or political party— and sports a readership that comprises at least 13% of current voters in Chicago as of 2023. The Guide was originally launched by Stephanie Skora and Ellen Mayer as in an attempt to create a public education tool that would appeal to progressives, leftists, and radicals in their circles who struggled to invest in voting and elections as a tool in the toolbox for change. Ellen retired from political reporting following the 2019 Municipal Election, and Stephanie continued writing the Guide solo until the 2024 Primary, when Raeghn Draper joined as a guest co-writer.
